It's about growing up during WW 2 in Southern Georgia. He brings forth in his book a time when familes were families, neighbors were your neighbors. It's a time that is no more and yet in reading the pages of his book I yearn for an era that was rich with family and love. Everything was different then compared to the times we live in today. In reading I could envision the story almost like watching a film. His web site is very educational and one everyone should read and enjoy. James Elders I salute you for a great book and a trip that was enjoyable.
