Flatwoods And LighterKnots isbn# 1-4137-8737-1 is a must read book by author James Elders. It's about growing up during WW 2 in Southern Georgia. He brings forth in his book a time when familes were families, neighbors were your neighbors. It's a time that is no more and yet in reading the pages of his book I yearn for an era that was rich with family and love. Everything was different then compared to the times we live in today. In reading I could envision the story almost like watching a film. His web site is very educational and one everyone should read and enjoy. James Elders I salute you for a great book and a trip that was enjoyable. I rate Flatwoods and Lighterknots 5 stars *****

Author Shelagh Watkins has written an enchanting book for children titled: Mr. Planemaker's Flying Machine Isbn# 1-4137-7136X . Shelagh was born in Lancashire and now lives in Wales, a beautiful part of the world. The children in the book Dell and Emmelisa are whisked off to a place called Hardwareland and they are in for quite an adventure. Her book is a great read for children and adults alike. If you would like to escape from every day reality, I suggest this book. Read it and you'll fall in love with the characters. She has so many great reviews, I couldn't possibly post them all here. Edd Voss has written a very touching book titled: A Tree For America Isbn # 1-4137-6225-5. It's a story about a Christmas tree that's destined for the White House and a story of the lives of all the great men and women who haul trucks with loads of goods across our great nation. His book has a moral in it; how Christmas is for giving, sharing and caring for one another no matter who you are.

Edd Voss also writes great short stories such as: Welcome Home, Joanna, Christmas On The Mesa and The First Hunt. All his short stories are available through www.amazon.com In case anyone didn't know Edd Voss is a great photographer. When I first saw his photography web site it blew me out of the water . His photography is just as great as Ansel Adams. Edd Voss, I not only give you five stars ***** for your writing also for your great photography.
