Author Of The Week Dick Stodghill - AUTHORS ROUND TABLEAuthor Of The Week Dick Stodghill - AUTHORS ROUND TABLEAuthor Dick Stodghill

Dick Stodghill is one of America's great authors with his latest book titled: " Normady 1944," isbn# 1-4241-4913-4 .His writing of the great depression before the war of how people were without jobs, money and many times food, should be read by all. It's a great lesson we should all learn . How many parents gave up their dinner for their children so they wouldn't starve. How many children did with what they had , this is sad and very touching. Mr. Stodghill's " Normandy 1944," brings forth the friendships soldiers had together and the trauma and horrors of war of which many a generation will never know and I pray they never do. Everyone young and old alike should read this great book, it will tell of a history that is no more but not forgotten . I give Dick Stodghill 5 stars***** for his great work also for his great stories on his blog page such as : " 1952 Bus Ride In Georgia," The Annoyances Of Growing Older," " Does Anyone Know The Answer," " Ol' CBS And The House Next Door," " Cops- Some Good And Some Bad," When Loosing, Send In More Men To Die," These are fantastic stories written by Dick and a " MUST READ." Dick I take off my hat off and I salute you......You can read his stories listed above at : http://stodg.blogspot.com

Three cheers for Dick Stoghill on being selected as Author of the Week, and also for being featured on the History Channel! I just got the email from Publish America today! My parents met when they were teenagers during the Great Depression, and my dad went into the Air Force on the eve of WWII, so I grew up on stories of the Depression and the War Years. I'm looking forward to reading your book!
